Create the perfect cookies every time with McDougalls cookie mix! Convenient and easy to use, simply add water and any additional treats you like! 

INGREDIENTS

Cookie Mixture 

  • McDougalls Plain Cookie Mix 3.5kg (1kg for this recipe) - 285241        
  • Water 
  • Cadbury Dairy Milk Giant Buttons - 374191 (we'd recommend 1xbag per 500g)

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 170°C/325°F/Gas Mark 3. In a fan assisted oven bake at 160°/320°/Gas Mark 2.

Add the correct amount of cold water for 500g of cookie mix to the mixing bowl. Then, add the weighed out McDougalls Cookie Mix to the bowl.  

With an electric beater (or hand beater if you don’t have one), mix on a slow speed for 1 minute. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add in the giant buttons, then mixfor a further 2 minutes ona slow speed. Be careful not to overmix.

To portion, form the mixture into a roll approx 18cm (3") diameter. Wrap in clingfilm and refrigerate until firm.

Remove the cling film and cut the dough into 13 x 2cm (3⁄4 ") slices and lightly press onto a baking tray. Bake for 13-15 minutes,
